there are 3 components to love. They are intimacy, passion and commitment.
Love with intimacy alone is liking; Love with commitment alone is empty; Love with passion alone is infatuation;
Love with intimacy and passion is romantic love; Love with intimacy and commitment is companionate love; love with passion and commitment is fatous love
Above all is comsummate love; the complete love consisting of intimacy, passion and commitment..." an ideal difficult to attain"
